Rhonda Bowman is the Administrative Officer for the Federal Public Defender’s Office for the Western District of Virginia where she has served since 2020. Prior joining the Federal Defender’s Office for the Western District of Virginia, she served as the Administrative Officer for the Federal Public Defender’s Office for the District of Delaware from 1993-2020.

As the Administrative Officer, she is the primary advisor to the Federal Public Defender. In that capacity, she also oversees all administrative and management matters in the office such as procurement, budget and human resource issues, while ensuring compliance with all applicable policies and procedures.
